Two-disk set featuring stories originally published in The New Yorker. Three authors read their own stories: Steven Millhauser reads "A Visit," Jeffrey Eugenides readers "Baster," and Junot Díaz reads "How to Date a Brown Girl." And three authors' work is read by others: Chuck D reads Mark Twain's "Jim and the Dead Man," Viggo Mortensen reads Jack Kerouac's "On the Road Journals," and Suzy Amis reads Annie Proulx's 55-minute "Brokeback Mountain."
