Mia's Bayeux Tapestry Colouring Book is a collection of hand drawn images from The Bayeux Tapestry, which can be used for colouring in or as inspiration for various craft projects. The book features a variety of images - from border creatures, to buildings, ships and horses. Several of the main characters from the famous embroidery are also depicted.This book is aimed at adults and children alike and it can be used for both leisure and educational purposes. It can provide a gateway into medieval history. Please be aware that a couple of the images may not be suitable for very young children or those with a sensitive nature.Each image has a blank back side, to allow for tracing, if used as a craft or embroidery pattern. There are approximately 70 images.The images were drawn by Mia Hansson, the woman who is embroidering a full-scale replica of The Bayeux Tapestry and runs a Social Media group to document the process and discuss her findings - Mia's Bayeux Tapestry Story.This colouring book was first published by Eyrie Press in 2020, but has now been republished on a different platform.
