More than this, he is a Jew - and the Nazis know it. A fascinating story of Dutch and Jewish resistance during the early part of the German occupation, by the author of The Crooked Cross. The hero(es) are flawed, all too human characters, but in the end this novel celebrates triumph over adversity.
