It is a fascinating and fundamental text of Buddhist thought.This short e-book takes lines from the ninth chapter “The Perfection of Understanding” and distills, reworks, and presents them according to possibilities they suggest. These are not simply translations, but often adaptations and re-creations. Stewart has published numerous translations in magazines and literary journals. He was awarded a 2005 Literature Fellowship for Translation by the National Endowment for the Arts.
