It centers on the characters from The Dark Artifices but also delves into the history of those from The Last Hours and The Infernal Devices through books and old papers found in the house. For a better understanding of the story, please make sure you have read all of the Shadowhunter books released as of 2024, as there will be spoilers (TLH being the last book series released before this book.)
