Sharon and Susan meet at summer camp and discover that they are twins, separated since infancy by divorced parents. The girls, each wanting to know her other parent, decide to trade places. A haircut really makes them identical.In Boston, Susan as Sharon finds out what her Mother, Maggie, is really like and how it is to live in a bit city. In California, Sharon as Susan discovers a father's love with Mitch and the wonders of outdoor life on a big ranch.However, Sharon also discovers that her father has wedding plans... something she had nod expected and which she must stop. A call to Boston brings Susan and an uninformed Maggie to the ranch. Now the twins must plot to keep their parents together.
