O tej książce

Plenty was created by the Farm in Tennessee in 1974 as an expression of the intentional community's desire to do more than just take care of itself. Independent of governments, political agencies, or religious institutions, Plenty represents the belief that if we wisely protect, manage, and share the earth's resources, there will be enough for all — plenty. The Farm, founded in 1971 as a flagship of the countercultural, back-to-the-land movement of the 1970s, grew in ten years to more than 1500 residents plus several hundred more in over a dozen satellite "Farms" and city centers around the U.S. It was these young idealists who originally served as Plenty volunteers in Guatemala, Mexico, Bangladesh, Lesotho, Haiti, Pine Ridge Reservation, and the South Bronx. This book is a collection of their stories.
