The Collected Short Stories of L. Frank Baum

Most of the short stories of L. Frank Baum are included here, including the previously-published collections, Mother Goose in Prose (collected 1896), American Fairy Tales (collected 1901), and Animal Fairy Tales (collected 1969). Except for "They Played a New Hamlet," all stories were previously published in The Baum Bugle, but they are now in a deluxe hardcover volume for the first time. The still unpublished "Chrome Yellow" is not included, but mentioned in an informative introduction of the material by Rogers, author of L. Frank Baum: Creator of Oz.
