Prospect.3: Notes for Now

This tie-in book to the international biennial in New Orleans features the work of more than fifty artists from nearly twenty countries. Prospect New Orleans is one of the leading biennials of international contemporary art in the United States. It showcases new artistic practices from around the world in a setting that is both historic and culturally exceptional. This volume brings together the artists and work featured in Prospect.3. In addition to spreads dedicated to each of the featured artists and their work, this volume includes an introductory essay by the biennial’s artistic director Franklin Sirmans, an essay on Walker Percy’s The Moviegoer by Mary McCay, poetry by Rickey Laurentiis, and a map of New Orleans with information on the locations of artists' projects.
