No Known Grave

This tale of Bomber Command - part biographical, part history, part fiction - is the story of Titch Wilkins, a composite of three real life characters, one lost with no known grave. He could be any of hundreds of 'tail end Charlies', and their childhood may have been as tragic, their youth as innocent. The flying sequences happened most nights to some aircrew or other in bomber Command, and the material came from lengthy talks in 'ops' rooms, barrack huts, bars and long country walks with surviving crew members.
