Here are all ten of the incredible live performances the Workshop has released so far. Some of the very best of modern American live radio theatre can be heard in these annual performances. The Midwest Radio Theatre Workshop has held annual events since 1979, bringing together students and top professionals from across the country and even across the ocean. A week of intense workshops, seminars, and classes is capped by a two-hour live performance by staff and participants. Auditions Tuesday, performance Saturday -- it's just a little nuts, but it works! Three or four original plays are produced every year, broadcast live over KOPN-FM, and later fed down the satellite for national distribution. These cassettes are some of the most successful and acclaimed productions of the legendary Workshop gang.
