Macpherson's Skyscraper

Life is always full of surprises for Macpherson, the young errand boy. But even he couldn't have guessed at what was in store for him one morning as he hurried off to work at "old Skinflint's grocery shop. His first shock was to find that the shop had been ransacked by burglars! Then, worse still, he heard that the street in which he lived was being pulled down. He and old Grandpa and Aunt Janet, to say nothing of Maisie Murphy and her family and all the other neighbours, would be forced to move to new homes.Then Macpherson heard WHERE they would be living!
