A French film-maker, whose career has stalled in Paris, moves to London in the hope of making a new start. An American woman, living in New York, moves to Paris to work in the luxury goods industry. An attaché at the British Embassy in Paris sees her in the swimming-pool of an hotel. These three lives are dramatically interwoven in comedy, romance and growing terror.
