Claude Cooper has traveled far in life, physically and emotionally, leaving along the way the trappings of poverty, the arrogance of youth, love lost, and prideful ambition - as well as a need for his own father to guide him. In doing so, he became a man - a man who, above all, created a bedrock foundation for a family that needed it most.
