Kate Douglas Wiggin (1856 – 1923) was an American educator and author of children's stories. One of her most notable classic children's novel is Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm even now considered to be the most popular one.This brief story by Kate Douglas Wiggin describes a wonderful journey of a little water drop baby over the whole world. His mother Ocean lets him go to beg the Sun to catch him up and lets him sail on one of the white floating clouds, then makes him fall on the earth from the highest mountain and a kind river takes him back home.
