O tej książce
You will be employed. If we had a time machine and went forward in time, we would find a point in which you will have found a new job. This book is about what you need to do between now and then. Job search is hard work, and no one else can do it but you. Depend on someone else to execute your job search and you will be out of work for a long time. Depend on recruiters, friends and relatives, or co-workers, and you’ll wait a long time. This book is about how YOU will execute your job search. This book is intended for those who have lost a job and are looking for a new one, and I assume that you have a working knowledge of the basics of job search. We will build from there, together. While much of what follows will apply to the first-time job seeker as well. What I want to accomplish in the following pages is to help you make the best decisions possible regarding the choices you make. This will be based on my quarter-century in the employment field, first as an executive recruiter, and more recently as a career consultant specializing in job-search strategies.
