Includes articles on Tuli Kupferberg, Allen Ginsberg, Hal Sirowitz, Ira Cohen, Leonard Abrams (publisher of the East Village Eye), Barney Rosset (publisher of Grove Press and the Evergreen Review). There are also pieces on music by John Zorn, Elliot Sharp and Gary Lucas, among others. It also has more general articles about the neighborhood by Sur Rodney Sur, Steve Zeitlin, Bob Holman and Chris Stein.
