IN THE EYES OF THE POET

I grew under falling bombs on my mother’s womb –Warsaw – W.W. II.Nihilism of the Communism directs the author to our “Boogie Street” – “Partumiarnia” in Warsaw – visited by uncompromised poets, philosophers, artists. She marries poet Andrzej Partum, has son with him in 1962. In 1969 she escapes to USA without money, family, language. In Miami she marries Seweryn W. Plater-Zyberk, Polish aristocrat, has 3 sons with him. First son Victor dies of cancer at 18. Third son Anthony, is born with Ondine’s curse medical condition.
