In Defense of the Equality of Men

Written in 1961 by Hansberry to be published in a magazine called The Fair Sex, but the magazine was never published. Was first printed in The Norton Anthology of Literature by Women in 1985.The article attacks the reactionary back-lash to the growing movement for equality between men and women in the middle of the twentieth century.
