Russell Chalmers was sick of it. The monotony of life as a newsroom peon, scribbling high school sports scores sometimes into the wee hours of the morning. A snub -- one that finally, at long last, pushes him past his fear of the unknown -- destroys Russell's short-lived journalism career in one explosive moment.
