O tej książce
Recorded Live - Two Cassettes Blofeld explains how to "throw" the I Ching and entreats throwers to approach it intuitively. He talks about the differing approaches to his, a modern interpretation to be used as a book of divination, and Wilhelm's, an historical reconstruction of what the I Ching meant at the time it was written. Huang opens the second tape with a meditation on allowing the self to be an open vehicle, to become what the Chinese commentary in the I Ching is saying. The symbolism of the hexagrams is then exquisitely detailed. The inherent difficulities of live recordings and the age of some of the recordings can cause variations in the sound quality. JOHN BLOFELD (1913-1987) English philosopher and Taoist scholar lived and studied in Asia for more than 40 years. His books and translations include "The I Ching", "The Zen Teaching of Huang Po", and "Tantric Mysticism of Tibet".
