History and Anthropology

This book of essays by Alan Macfarlane explores the growth of the relationship between history and anthropology since the 1960's. It also looks at the conditions for creativity. Alan Macfarlane has been successively Senior Research Fellow in History, Reader in Historical Anthropology and Professor of Anthropological Science at the University of Cambridge.
