O tej książce
These Science Fiction skirmish rules are based on the fire team. Whilst men move and fire as individuals, they are all part of combat units. Whether these units are regular infantry formations or the following of tribal or feudal chieftains doesn't matter. These formations attempt to keep together, and share a common reaction. This formation is normally between three and five figures. Two or three fire teams will form a squad, a couple of squads a platoon etc. When you start using Hell by Starlight, use a couple of fire teams a side, but with experience platoon scale actions will prove easy enough to run and with a couple of players a side you can even have games with up to fifty figures a side. Also these rules have to cover a myriad scenarios, some which will happen, some which could happen, and some which almost certainly will not, but look like they will be fun to play. There is no "Official UniverseTM" There are possibilities for very hi-tech games, where you stretch the ECM rules to the full. There are also occasions where semi barbarians armed with dodgy firearms purchased from shady traders fight it out with other barbarians who have been less commercially aware and are armed with swords and bows. You can also design your own aliens. But beware, at this scale it is not possible to nuke them from orbit. It no longer possible to be sure.
