O tej książce

This book includes knowledge gained from 50 years of shooting baskets and has taken 400 pages to share the dynamics of shooting secrets, scientific principles and natural laws. And still not finished. Will have to do more. The free throw is the most important skill to learn in basketball, because it makes up 30-35% of the final score in any game. After learning some new and possibly revolutionary principles and secrets that have allowed the author to shoot 99% from the line for over 30 years you will find your shot more consistent and efficient and when your free throw improves to above 90% which should be your goal then you will find your shot improving all over the floor as well as your confidence will rise accordingly. By the time you have read the whole book and understand all the principles that need to be mastered you will find that making shots relies on mental to physical and not just physical with no mental application. It is all mind over matter. The book covers in depth the importance of learning new scientific principles then applying them to your own physical makeup. It will require patience, dedication, and a burning desire to improve shooting percentages. It does not matter if you are a short female or a tall male or a green martian with one eye. The ball does not care about physical emotions, spiritual chants or even hope dialogue. It only cares about the physical effort applied to its body. That's all. And it is here that the rubber meets the road. About 80% of shots are missed because they are not straight. That is a major problem. I want to leave no stone unturned. From the fingertips to the toes and what part of the body holds the most responsibility and accountability to superior shooting. It is all about body control. Since the flesh is dumb like the scriptures say it is the mind that controls all parts of the body and especially the finer muscles which are the accuracy muscles. The power is generated from the major muscles, calves, thighs, back, shoulders etc. Anyhow, There are many photos included which are very detailed and up close for your study and continual reference. This book is a lifetime investment and I have dedicated my whole life to this cause or more specifically to the mastery of 1 second or the life cycle of a shot. It will be my blessing when I see or hear the reader or the player improve. This book will be excellent reference for all Physical education teachers at schools at all levels and coaches as well because they will be more in tune with what's included. It will also be great for all parents and family members to help younger kids learning the game and shooting around on the home court where it all really happens anyhow. By the time the reader is finished I hope that you will notice the shift on the thinking process from the physical effort involved to the mental control required. Again , it is dominantly mind over matter. The way to know if you are becoming a great shooter is to bridge the gap between free throw shooting and field goal shooting. When you get to 90% from the line and 70% from 3 point line then you are really closing the gap and that tells you that your mechanics are getting more chiseled and more compact is what you want. Today a 70% FT shooter will shoot about 30-35% from 3 point land. An 80% FT shooter will be about 5-10% better etc. It all boils down to closing the gap and missing much less. Thus confidence grows accordingly. This book hopefully covers every piece of the puzzle and the more you know about the reasons you miss, the more tuned in to repairing flaws. It really is that simple but I have said that there is complexity in the simplicity and simplicity in the complexity. A finger tip push up is the end result or the simulated follow through. Sounds simple. But there is so much to know and understand just to get that finish under control. The results are amazing. Superiority and even perfection are attainable. It is our quest. Best swishes to all.
