FAMILY DIMENSIONS

“Do we all live on tracks we were born to?” thinks Lionel. He lives in town, works in a dull job, and has a flat in the same block that houses his highly promiscuous junkie sister and other oddball characters. Various incidents produce an unexpected happening that allows him to return to live with his cross-dressing Dad at his family's country home, taking his sister with him in the hope of weaning her off her precarious lifestyle. The storyline features sex, prostitution, violence, betrayal, and the odd twists and turns of family life. As Lionel works through the conflicts of a steady stream of discoveries, he steadily emerges from his shell and, although astonished by events, ends up feeling more sure of himself.
