O tej książce

Endeavor is a science fiction / comics fanzine founded in 1970 by Kurt Erichsen and Dale Nelson, aged 15 at the time, when they both lived in Coos Bay, Oregon. The zine was originally designed to highlight the fiction and comics of both writers/illustrators. With issue #6 Erichsen became the sole editor, and added many writers and artists from fandom. These young artists were notable for their work at a young age, and some went on to greater fame in their adult careers. Contributors included David McDonnell, Paul Chadwick, Neil Riehle, Cara Sherman, Ron Harris, Chris Warner, Brent Anderson, George Erling, and Rich Bruning -- to name a few. Erichsen himself became known for his "Murphy's Manor" comic strip in LGBT newspapers, and comic stories in "Gay Comix" and "Meatmen." With issue #14 Endeavor returns after a hiatus of 43 years. This new Endeavor at last includes stories and comics that have been on file all this time, plus new works. Endeavor 14 features stories by Dale Nelson, David McDonnell, and Kurt Erichsen; comics by Neil Riehle, Rich Bruning, and Jean-Paul Jennequin; illos by Lance "Doc" Boucher, Sam de la Rosa, Larry Johnson, Guido Rosas, Rod Snyder; and front cover by Winston Jackson.
