O tej książce
From 1979-1983, DREAMWORKS was an illustrated, avant-garde, interdisciplinary journal devoted to understanding dreams. The editors invited contributions from many fields--philosophy, psychology, criticsm, religion, mythology, and especially from all the arts. Its Advisory Board was comprised of quite famous names: John Cage, John Fowles, Denise Levertov, Ann Faraday, Robert Bruce, John Hollander, W. S. Merwin, Gordon Wagner, Ursula LeGuin, and others. Each issue was driven by a theme: the theme of #3 was "Dream and Performance," the theme of #4 was "Nightmares," etc. The contents of issue #3, wrapped inside a stunning cover which fuses two films--Fritz Lang's Metropolis and Todd Browning's Dracula--includes Performance Dreams, Train Dreams, Dreams Against the State, Dream Into Dance, A Dream Drama, Memory As Dream, Dogs' Dreams and more.
