Surprising and delighting in their similarity, these affectionately matched images celebrate photography’s power to capture the small moments of humor, warmth, ennui and absurdity that are in fact our most important of all. The Anonymous Project is dedicated to collecting and preserving mid-century color slides from around the world. Started in 2017 by filmmaker Lee Shulman, the project brings to light Kodachrome memories that might otherwise be lost forever.
