Cut the Tent

Nine-year-old Enoch Windsome is captured and adopted by Cochise's Chiricahuas where he is befriended by the Spirit of Raven. As he grows into manhood, he is caught in the conflict between the newly-arrived Intruders and his Apache family. Finally attempting to rejoin the white world, he is discouraged by the governmental decrees controlling Native Americas. He returns to Cochise and tries to help the Chiricahuas adjust to the new reality, but in the end Raven accompanies him home.
