Come Not Down the LanesTwo days before Christmas, Richard Munslow, the last sin eater in England, is called to the farmhouse of his recently departed rival, farmer Albert Moss. Tradition has it that employing the services of a sin eater absolves you of your sins after death, but some sins cannot be forgiven and so lightly passed on. On a cold winter's night as a blizzard rages Richard Munslow faces his cynicism head on.This is a short ghost story for Christmas. My aim was to write something in the Victorian tradition.
