Cold Bay Alaska: Udaamagax Cold Bay on the Alaska Peninsula

Cold Bay is a small town on the end of the Alaska Peninsula before the beginning of the long Aleutian chain. Few people have passed through Cold Bay, and even fewer people have lived there for any length of time, but those who do have some great memories and photographs to share. Several stories written by people who lived in Cold Bay in the 1960s and 1970s including Bob Livingston and Tom O'Malia who worked for the FAA; Sharon Gronholdt-Dye who passed through Cold Bay traveling from Sand Point; Caleb Livingston who wrote about French oceanographer Jacques-Yves Cousteau; Mike Burns who worked for he FAA; Chuck Jones whose father Bob worked for USFW; Gary Hadfield who worked for the FAA; and Michael Livingston who grew up in Cold Bay.
