I only enjoy dating with church. This is not what God wants us to do. Faith is not alone. Spiritual growth is not done alone. The church is not only at the center of Gods plan for the world, but also the place God has prepared for us to build up and strengthen us. To say that we love Jesus Christ, I deserve it. You should not react cynically. If you have been close to a church shopper or a church walker, let go of the profound faith in your church. Now is the time to fall in love with the church that God has established. This is a fact that is confirmed in His ministry or in the ministry of the gospel. If the church is important to Him, then certainly in our lives the church should be a precious object. How can we handle lightly what God considers so important? How can we push the church that God has centered on his heart to the edge? - John Stott
