O tej książce
My debut offering is a collection of my finest poetry written over many years, ranging from the romantic to the whimsical, sporting and political. For those of you unfamiliar with the term 'chapbook', it is a type of small book consisting of ballads, poems, tales or tracts, which has been sold in England by itinerant merchants known as ‘chapmen’ since the 1570s. As I construct this introduction, I cannot help but wonder if it is destiny that I, one Daniel Chapman, am publishing my first poetry chapbook hundreds of years later? The romantic within me is inclined to believe so! I present for your delectation my most-carefully-crafted poetry book which the eminent poet John Mole has described as 'a collection of entertaining and often thought-provoking poems which result in game-set-and-match for both writer and reader.'
