I remember clearly asking myself one Keith, what do you want to do with your life?I used to watch TV and see beautiful places and people having fun on the screen. I would say to myself, I can’t get that here in Salem, Alabama. The world is bigger than Salem.When I told people I was going off to college to study electronics, the reply I got was, “You barely graduated high school, and you’re going to major in electronics? You’ll be back home.”Those negative comments served as my real motivation. I thought, I’m going to make it. Watch me. Before I knew it, it was time for this Black boy from Salem to head off to college and for my journey to begin.What a ride it would be.
