Blood on the Campus

Professor Mike Swinburne is the Professor of Economics at Westchester University, a respected university in an English provincial town. One day, his tightly planned lecturing and research routine is exploded by the murder of his best research assistant, Julia Masterton, the daughter of a US Senator. His research on university funding has strayed into areas where corruption is rife, such as the funding of scientific research, funding of overseas students, visa scams, drugs, sports scholarships, attempts by Iran to gain nuclear knowledge, the building of Chinese influence in the West and other areas of university corruption. As the story progresses, it is unclear which of these hornets’ nests warranted a murder and whether Swinburne will survive or others die
