From the Editorial:The fiction that makes up this issue of Aurealis stood out as representing a high quality cross section of what Australian female SF writers are producing at the moment. What struck me was the range of genre fiction, from urban fantasy to science fiction. It is wide and varied. More importantly, the way in which speculation in the fiction is used is varied; there is horror and humour in good measure in these stories.
