ATS: Auto Trends in Scale 2021 no.1

By now, many of you know that Auto Trends in Scale is a unique and different take on the whole model car magazine thing. The plan is to provide scale model car enthusiasts, builders, and collectors with a selection of fresh and stimulating features twice each year. Features like "Never In Styrene," which showcase die-cast models that have not been released as plastic kits. Featured model car builds from some well known people in the hobby as well as some you may not know, but all are alike in that everybody loves model cars and we feel this makes a pretty well-rounded publication as well. Models from the various different motor sports disciplines, as well as replica stock, muscle cars, sports cars, and beyond. There is something for everybody. In this exciting issue of ATS , our newest installment of Never In Styrene, a build of the 1/25th scale Modelhaus resin 1957 Desoto Fireflite hardtop. Curt Raitz’s 1921 Oldsmobile Dirt Track Racer, consisting of a resin body, kit bashing, and masterful scratchbuilding. A quartet of Bill’s Dodge Charger kits are “Chargin’ to the top!”. To round out the issue, Frank LuQue’s excellent replica of Big Willie Robinson’s Charger Daytona drag car.
