A startling tale of four friends struggling to find their place and purpose in an adolescent world; a world where acceptance into adulthood is the ultimate currency, which in turn, redefines the true meaning of love, loyalty and friendship. Kareem "The Dream", a high school basketball star, is on the verge of making it to the next level, patiently waiting for an acceptance letter to Georgia Tech on a full scholarship, and hopes to leave the struggles of the streets behind him. His best friend, Jimbo, on the other hand has ambitions of being the ultimate product of his environment and would do whatever it takes to obtain the street credibility that he feels that he deserves at all costs. Summer, the captain of the cheerleaders squad, has finally reached the status that she rightfully deserves; meeting Sicario, the local club owner of Illuminations and full time hustler in the heart of Atlanta. For her, she feels as though life is wonderful, that she is above the rest of her peers. And Peaches, her best friend, another cheerleader on the team, is struggling to find her own happiness, hoping to find it in Kaseem "The Dream".The sudden conflict of two men-Sicario and Shocka-had infected the hopes and aspirations of their adolescent world when Sicario-with his no nonsense approach and unwavering principals-makes an embarrassing example out of Shocka, one of his low level business associates, therefore giving him the chance to orchestrate his retaliation, which he ultimately does. And with his acts of revenge, all parties are sucked into a whirlwind of chaos and violence, and the effect that it produces are life-shattering.
