Art Engaging Gangs

A group exhibition of artists who have engaged with gangs in different ways. This art is the flip side of Norman Rockwell’s middle American paintings of Thanksgiving gatherings or getting immunized, a shot, from the doctor to protect you from unseen danger. This is a different kind of the danger of poverty, lack of work and opportunity. The work reflects and documents the violence and death that surrounds the lives of the gang members and the victims.
