O tej książce
The Reverend Hugh Williams dies in August 2016 whilst running in woodland in the parish of Barkworth in Yorkshire. His daughter, Ruth, provides the eulogy at the funeral. That evening, she finds a file in her father’s study titled ‘Apologies’. There are seven letters dated December 1972 to seven people. She does not recognize their names. The letters are from a Billy Black to seek an apology for hurting people in his past. Ruth makes a commitment to meet all these people one by one. It is part of her mourning process, but is also out of curiosity to find out the truth about ‘Billy Black.’
