American Mythic: A Boy's Adventure With The U.S. Cavalry In India

Near the end of the Nineteenth Century, fabled U.S. Cavalry Colonel Luther Wingate, his Sergeant Major, Keogh, and his half-breed Indian son, Snowfox, journey to India to visit his daughter Alice, who has married an officer of the British Raj. They discover on arrival that Wingate's son-in-law has been killed and his daughter kidnapped by a revolutionary. Wingate and crew put on buckskins once again and set out to save Alice. This classic screenplay harkens back to John Ford's Cavalry Trilogy -- She Wore a Yellow Ribbon, Fort Apache and Rio Grande -- and the paintings and tales of Frederic Remington, who rode with the American cavalry on the American frontier during its brief moment in history.
