This book was published by RealismusStudio of NGBK, New Society for Visual Arts, on the occasion of Alfredo Jaar's 2012 retrospective in Berlin at the NGBK (15 Jun - 19 Aug), the Berlinische Galerie (15 Jun - 17 Sep) and the Alte Nationalgalerie (15 Jun - 16 Sep). A collection of bilingual German-English texts provide an unmatched study of the artist's life and work, including photographs taken after the fall of the Berlin wall never previously released, selected signature projects exhibited in Berlin for the first time, and lesser known works made in Chile between 1974 and 1981.
