O tej książce

At the time, it seemed like a smart idea to flee.Even with Widow Douglas' best efforts, Huckleberry Finn just won't become civilized. The monotony of putting on clean clothes, going to school, and coming home to a cooked lunch is setting in.Huck, as he is known, chooses to join Tom Sawyer's band of outlaws in order to spice up his life. Huck decides to forego the thrill and seeks to live a more civilized life after they prove not to be the ruthless ransom experts they claim to be. He goes to school and behaves himself for a while.Huck decides to make a change as his father unexpectedly shows him and starts causing havoc. After deciding he's had enough of everyday life, Huck boards his raft and heads for a remote island. When he gets there, he discovers that other people have also made the decision to live there. He runs into burglars, a flood that comes as a pleasant surprise, con artists, dramatic shootouts, family disputes, and much more on the island.Huckleberry Finn eventually wishes he was back at home, curled up in bed after a hot breakfast, after all of his adventures. But does he get his wish, or does he go on with his adventures?
