A Vintage Collection of Beauty and the Beast Stories

Three wonderful different versions of the same classic story each with illustrations from the 1800's giving flavor and vibrancy to the story. Read the stories as your grandparents (or great grandparents) would have when they were children. The first story is short with color illustrations and first published in 1885 in Cincinnati. The second story is a real gem, the book it was taken from had a publishing date of 1887, but the language used suggests that the story is far older, before some the spelling of common words had been standardized. This story also has music and words for Beauty's Song. The third story rounding out the collection, is one which closest to the story of the animated movie of the same name. It's a delightful short story ending with the classic words "...lived happily ever after."
