O tej książce

in 400 BC, the Chinese Tao Te Ching said that all life forms are so inter-related that they are a unified life form. From this, it predicted disaster that if humanity disrupted the Natural unity of life. It proposed 3 'Treasures' to steer civilization path away from ecological disasters of the Anthropocene Epoch. The Anthropocene is an era of global warming, rising seas, intensify storms and droughts, and mass extinctions of many species. The Tao's first Treasure is to live with Loving Respect for Nature's Ways. The other Treasures speak to the need for simplicity and justice. This gracefully written book tells of the author's gardens, the Tao Te Ching, and its suggestions for how we can live in sustainable harmony with nature. Steven Miles is Prof emeritus in Medicine & Bioethics at the U of MN and a Master gardener.
