A Pair of Mental Diaries: Long Road Traveled and Things I Never Told My Doctor

"A Pair of Mental Diaries" is 2 diaries that I wrote in different ways. My first diary "Long Road Traveled" evolved over 25 years as I had therapy and hospitalizations over the years for my mental health. It starts in 1979 and ends in 2004. I collected my psychiatric notes and slowly weaved the story. I had much to write about. Included is information about my work as a mental health consumer representative in Wisconsin. I also wrote about people I worked with for 8 years. Writing this book was very therapeutic for my recovery from mental illness. It is my intention that others can learn from my experiences. My second diary "Things I Never Told My Doctor" details events from throughout my life that were influential in shaping me into who I eventually became.
