A Feast of Pastiche

Mary Freeman is a Maine formalist metaphysical poet who has written pastiches of well-known poems by major poets she most admires. These include Wallace Stevens's "Sunday Morning,", John Keats's "At first looking into Chapman's Homer," A.E. Housman's "Terrence this is stupid stuff," George Gordon, Lord Byron's "Love song to *********", John Donne's "Riding Westward on Ash Wednesday," seven poems from Frederick Turner's The Undiscovered Sonnets of a Wayfarer, and fifteen sonnets from Julia Budenz's epic poem The Gardens of Flora Baum.
