O tej książce

A collection of 20 free-ranging essays, HERETICS contains some of Chesterton's most stimulating writing. He enjoyably attacks some of his favorite targets: Nietszche, George Bernard Shaw, H.G. Wells, hypocrisy, faddism and muddy thinking. He takes to task the English gutter press of the early 20th century and chides Rudyard Kipling for not having spent enough of his life in England. With equal vigor, Chesterton defends the institutions he holds dear: the family ("a good institution because it is uncongenial"), his country and his church.
