I've finally found my place. It's at The Fort with the four vampire princes--Nicolai, Christian, Stephan, and Connor. We settle into a rhythm. I train with the other guards, and then they give me extra training to ensure I'm placed with them at the end of all this. Then, news from the larger vampire world threatens everything and the princes have to go to The Council. I'm alone again.
