1969: I Spy Hotel, a novella

This episode is in three sections. The first revolves around Professor Tom Takabayashi and the Berkeley School of Criminology, and his involvement in radical protests. The second section follows the Asian American Experience class (Professor Takabayashi’s class) at Berkeley as it prepares a protest. The one student we meet named by his actual name, is James Baba, AKA "The James Brown" of their protest movement. The third section centers on the characters Nelson and Aiko, their relationship and Nelson's attempts to infiltrate Baba's JTC (J-Town Collective).
